James L. Field: James L. Field is a health care researcher, writer, consultant, and lecturer living in Alexandria, VA. He is a General Manager at the Advisory Board Company (ABCO), a health care services firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Dr. Field runs the company's health care research, technology assessment, and data analytics department, which is comprised of 170 professional staff. He received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
